We've graded our rides into three categories. These take into account the distance and amount of climbing you would expect to cover in one day's cycling. They are intended as a guide to help you choose the right type of trip for you.

EASY: On these routes, you will be cycling between 20-30 miles (32-48 km) each day. They are mainly flat with the occasional hill. They are ideally suited for cyclists who want a leisurely, easy-going ride that allows you plenty of time to take in the stunning landscape and surroundings.

MODERATE: The daily distance covered on these routes are between 30-50 miles (48-80 km). They include some steep and long climbs. These routes are suited to riders who cycle regularly and have a good level of fitness and experience.

HARD: These routes cover 50-70 miles (80-115 km) each day, and include several steep and challenging climbs. They are aimed at experienced cyclists with a good level of fitness, and who want to challenge themselves with some of the best known climbs in Wales.
